Val Grisenche, a side arm of the Aosta Valley, is known as the
epitome of helicopter skiing in Europe. Search in vain, but you
will not see a single lift or cable car. The narrow valley is
a 30 km long deserted dead-end that spills into a wide, romantic
mountain basin: 20 authorised drop of points, longest vertical
descent 2200 meters - this is skiers and boarders paradise. |
